We have seen a tremendous resurgence in the skills of patchwork and quilting -and stitching generally - from both a design and artistic perspective.  It is fitting perhaps in these difficult times that 2011 is designated the Year of Craft that will highlight the skill, self-reliance and endeavour that gives so much reward and satisfaction.  We welcome any comments.
