Guest Speaker: Liz Nilsson
Liz Nilsson is an interdisciplinary artist based in Dublin since 2OOO. She studied art and textile design in her home country Sweden, followed by an MA at Goldsmiths College (London), 1991-93. She continuously exhibits in Ireland and internationally and has an extensive commissions record.
She approaches her practice with careful methodology, attentively choosing materials and techniques to express her interests; repetition and memory. Her work incorporates print, tactile mark making, drawing and photography, concluding in installations, printed compositions and performances.
Having practiced in the field for twenty-five years, Liz enthusiastically shares her knowledge and experience with both individuals and groups through on-going courses, workshops and lectures. She is a founder member of PrintBlock, Dublins textile collective workshop. ( www.prinblock.ie )

Eastern Branch Library: Amnesty for branch library at this month's meeting. At last month's meeting we asked everyone to check if they had forgotten library books at home that needed to be returned. These books can be returned (no questions asked) at tomorrow's branch meeting.
