Machine Quilting - Using a Walking Foot Workshop- Dearbhla O'Reilly
Learn to machine your own quilts using your own sewing machine with a walking foo. All the quilting in this class will be using your walking foot or even feed, which comes with most machines. There is no free motion involved.
The workshop is over a full day and will cover:
- How to prepare your quilt top for quilting
- How to approach and design a quilt pattern
- Quilt designs using different stitches and threads
If you have a quilt-top that you would like to consider quilting yourself, please bring and we can discuss appraches to quilt.
The workshop is suitable for beginners or as a refresher class. Participants will need to bring their own sewing machine (with walking foot) for this class. A requirement list will be also supplied for the other items (materials/wadding/threads) you will need.
